We’re teaming up with Scottish Highland Games to bring you an ALL-NEW Highland Games competition. We’ll have competitors displaying feats of power, strength, and agility, and two days of competition.

Details
Early registration is recommended. Entry deadline is April 17th, 2026. Entries received after April 17th are at the Athletic Director’s (AD’s) discretion and WILL NOT receive a festival shirt.
All pre-registered athletes will be provided with 1 T-shirt, 2 gate passes, water, sports drinks. T-shirts are to be worn at all times on the field.
Plan to arrive early to get signed in, assist with setup, and enjoy catching up with the other athletes… before you battle!
Novice Class athletes will receive instruction for each event with a warm-up throw prior to throwing in the event.
Schedule of Competitions
Saturday, May 2nd:
- 8:30-9:00 AM: Sign-in
- Men’s A, Master’s 40-49, Men’s Lightweight, Women’s Open Class athletes
- 9:00-9:30 AM: Stand up the WOB and Sheaf towers
- 9:30 AM: Begin throwing promptly
Sunday, May 3rd:
- 8:30-9:00 AM: Sign-in
- Men’s B, Men’s C, Men’s Novice, Men’s Masters 50-59, Men’s 60+, Women’s Masters Class athletes
- 9:00-9:30 AM: Stand up the WOB and Sheaf towers
- 9:30 AM: Begin throwing promptly
Athletic Rules
- RMSA rules will be used for judging. (View RMSA rulebook here.)
- All decisions of the Judges and Athletic Director (AD) are final.
- It is at the AD’s discretion only to allow late shows to compete. All competitors must sign in before the first throw, marking the start of the competition for their class.
- The AD may move you between classes to fill open slots or to make the class more competitive with the rest of the field. (No trophy hunters! Register for the class you are competitive in only.)
- T-Shirt modifications are allowed as long as you do not deface the Games logo or sponsors’ names.
- Athletes will be expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude toward the public, officials, and other competitors.
